This course is for anyone wishing to become a UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) Accredited Advisor. An Advisor plays an essential role in informing athletes and their athlete support personnel (ASP) about the values of clean sport and important anti-doping information. The programme, is a step-by-step learning module which explains the role of the Advisor, the principles of clean sport and all the essential anti-doping information Advisors need for the role. The course should take you approximately one and a half hours and concludes with a series of short assessments to test your knowledge on the key areas of anti-doping. Once you have started the course you are able to log out, save your progress and continue at another time. Clean Sport at the Front Line, Tuesday 29 January, 2019 at Burleigh Court, Loughborough University (West Park) UK Anti-Doping is pleased to announce that booking is now open for the second Clean Sport at the Front Line forum. The forum will focus on evidence-based practice and how best to support and protect practitioners, with emphasis this year on those athletes that are most vulnerable and at risk of making a doping decision, as well as the role of the athlete support personnel in protecting athletes. Endorsed by UK Coaching – the central agency for coaching in the UK – it’s the only anti-doping course available in the UK that relates to the coach’s role. Coach Clean now includes an assessment that requires re-taking every 2-years to ensure that coaches knowledge is current and well informed. Who is it for? All coaches, whether at the grass-roots or elite level of sport.
