About the course The Clean Sport Advisor course has been updated to reflect the changes to the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code. A Clean Sport Advisor plays an essential role in informing athletes and their athlete support personnel (ASP) about the values of clean sport and important anti-doping information. Who is this for? The course if for anyone wishing to improve their knowledge of clean sport and increase the reach to protect clean sport. On successful completion, a certificate will be issued (able to download at any time) to confirm your achievement. The certification is valid until the 31 March 2022. From April 2021 UK Anti-Doping will be moving Learning Management System – to a platform called the Clean Sport Hub. The Clean Sport Hub will have updated eLearning courses and the Clean Sport Advisor course will be replaced. This will not affect the validity of your certification if completed before April 2021. What will I learn? The programme, is split into four core modules, explaining the principles of clean sport and essential anti-doping information with the role of the Advisor linked throughout. Clean Sport, Anti-Doping and 100% me Helping athletes to be clean and stay clean The testing procedure What happens when it goes wrong How long does it take? The course should take you approximately one and a half hours, with each module concluding with a short assessment to test your knowledge. Once you have started the course you are able to log out, save your progress and continue at another time – however, once you have started an assessment you must not leave that page until you have fully answered it.  Where do I get help? Endorsed by UK Coaching – the central agency for coaching in the UK – it’s the only anti-doping course available in the UK that relates to the coach’s role. Coach Clean now includes an assessment that requires re-taking every 2-years to ensure that coaches’ knowledge is current and well informed. Who is it for? All coaches, whether at the grassroots or elite level of sport. Please be aware that you only have three attempts to pass this assessment and if you are unsuccessful in all three attempts there is a 7-day "cooling off" period to reflect and recap on the learning modules to prepare you for your re-assessment.
